Our PhD student Anne Ilse Maria Vogel has defended her PhD-project “Type IV pili-mediated metal acquisition in cyanobacteria”. She has been supervised by Martin Hohmann-Marriott and professor Hanne Winther-Larsen (UiO). Her opponents were Prof John Golbeck (Penn State University, USA) and senior lecturer Pia Lindberg (Uppsala University, Sweden). Professor Marit Sletmoen was the leader of the committee.
We congratulate Anne on her PhD, and wish her all the best in future endeavors. Anne has been an integral part of Photosynlab, and we miss her already!
